UGC NET June 2016 Registration

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) officially announces the much-awaited UGC NET June 2016 on their official website. This is good news for the PG final year students who wish to further study in research filed and those who have completed their PG studies and wish to take up a teaching carrier. The University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) in short UGC NET is the criteria to get fellowship while doing research studies and those who wish to join in Indian Universities and colleges as Assistant Professors post on UGC pay scale. This year he or she who is interested to write the UGC NET June 2016 must apply online from the 2nd week of April and the proposed date of test is on July 2016. Age Limit for UGC NET June 2016
Junior Research Fellowship-
• He or she must not exceed 28 years of age and age relaxation is application up to 5years for OBC/SC/ST and PWD candidates.
Assistant Professor-
• No upper age limit is applicable for Assistance Professor to write UGC NET June 2016

Eligibility Criteria for UGC NET June 2016
• He or she must be a nationality of India.
• The candidates who have completed their Post Graduation in disciplines like (Humanities, Social Science, Computer Science/Application and in Electronic) from recognized Universities of India are eligible to apply.
• The candidates who are going to complete their PG studies this year are also eligible to write UGC NET June 2016.
• The candidates belonging to General Category must score more than 55% marks in their PG level studies.
• The candidates belonging to Reserved Category (SC/ST and PWD) must score more than 50% marks in their PG level studies.

Registration fees of UGC NET June 2016
• The General Category candidates must pay INR 600 as fee for UGC NET June 2016
• The OBC Category candidates must pay INR 300 as fee for UGC NET June 2016
• The Reserved Category (SC/ST and PWD) candidates must pay INR 150 as fee for UGC NET June 2016
• The candidates can pay online while applying through Debit/Credit cards.
• The candidates can pay offline by generation E-Challan from cbsenet.nic.in and can pay their respective UGC NET June 2016 fee by cash at any of the branches of these banks namely (HDFC/ICICI/Canara and Syndicate Bank)

Online mode:
The interested and eligible candidates must apply online through CBSE’e official website cbsenet.nic.in
• The candidates can apply online from 12/04/2016 to 13/05/2016
• Read the instructions properly and start apply online carefully
• The candidates must upload their passport size photo
• Before submitting, please check for the correctness of your details.

Exam Pattern of UGC NET June 2016
The UGC NET 2016 consists of III-Session-
UGC NET Test Paper -1
• There will be 60 questions, in which 50 questions are compulsory to attempt.
• Total Marks is 100
• The test duration is 1 hour 15 minutes
UGC NET Test Paper -2
• There will be 50 questions
• Total Marks is 100
• The test duration is 1 hour 15 minutes
UGC NET Test Paper -3
• There will be 75 questions
• Total Marks is 150
• The test duration is 2 hour 30 minutes

Admit Card for UGC NET June 2016
The UGC NET June 2016 admit card or hall ticket will be available to download and print from cbsenet.nic.in only.
• He or she must visit cbsenet.nic.in a week before the UGC NET June 2016 test date.
• Now go to UGC NET June 2016 Admit Card page
• Enter your registration number and download your hall ticket and take a print out.
Note:
• There is no physical admit card issue by CBSE via India Post/Courier for UGC NET June 2016 Exam.
• No candidates can enter the test hall without their respective hall ticket or admit card of UGC NET June 2016.
