AMSOM Admission 2016
Programme Offered : Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Duration of MBA : It is a two year full-time programme.The programme is structured based on the semester system. Each year is divided in two semesters.
Areas in MBA : Management like Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management; Minors as well as in Information Systems and Operations Management.
Eligibility for MBA
- The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India, with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) or equivalent CGPA, of any University.
- In case of the candidates being awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the equivalence would be based on the equivalence certified by the university/ institution from where they have obtained bachelor’s degree.
- candidate who has appeared for the final year examination of bachelor’s degree or equivalent can also apply.
MBA Admission Process
- Candidates who have appeared for either CAT 2015 conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) or Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2016-17 conducted by AICTE.
- Based on the cut-off as decided by the admissions committee, candidates will be shortlisted for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).

- Last date of receiving duly filled applications 19th March 2016.
- Display of gd/pi dates for shortlisted candidates 25th march 2016
- Date of gd/pi of shortlisted candidates 01st to 12th april 2016 (tentative).
- Date of merit list and waiting list april 2016 (will be announced)
- Date of program commences 01st august 2016.
