MP DMAT 2016 Cutoff is the selection parameter which will be applied by Association of Private and Medical Colleges of Madhya Pradesh (APDMCMP) to shortlist the candidates in MBBS/BDS admission process. All the candidates who appear in Madhya Pradesh Dental and Medical Admission Test (MP DMAT) will be scrutinized under the cutoff to determine their suitability for progression in the next round. It also helps to pick the best lot of candidates so that quality of the candidates is maintained. Shortlisted candidates will be considered for allotment of seats in various private/government medical and dental colleges of the state. Usage of Cutoff of MP DMAT 2016
Those candidates who are able to score marks more than or equal to the cutoff will be selected for next round of admission process i.e. counselling and seat allotment. If a candidate fails to score sufficient marks, he will be rejected. The shortlisted candidates will thereafter be put in a merit list in the order of decreasing marks i.e. the candidate with highest marks gets first place in the list.
Similarly, the candidate with marks equal to the MP DMAT 2016 Cutoff will be placed at the bottom of the list. This list and ranks assigned therein will be the sole creation for counselling call. Needless to say, since the admissions will be done on the basis of merit, higher the score indicates better chances of getting allotted. MP DMAT 2016 Cutoff and Merit List
Some of the factors on which the MP DMAT 2016 Cutoff Score will be determined are – number of candidates, number of seats, reservation norms, candidate to seat ratio, exam difficulty level, marking scheme, highest and lowest scorer, previous year admission trends, and last year cutoff statistics. The merit list will also play a major factor in the allotment of seats apart from regular ones such as – choices filled, reservation norms, and availability of seats. Allotment will be done in around 1000 MBBS and 1320 BDS seats in approximately 25 medical and dental colleges respectively.
