Future of Indian Villages
India is a land of villages. Most of the people of our country live in villages. So, the future of India depends on the improvement of living conditions in villages. Unfortunately the villages of our country have been neglected for a long time.
The Indian villages are places of poverty wants insanitation and diseases. Majority of the people living in villages are poor and illiterate. But Now a day the New Govt. of India is deciding to improvement of villagers with a few plans which is directed by govenment. They depends on agriculture. They do not use modern methods of agriculture. There is lack of facilities for irrigation in our villages. So, Agriculture often becomes gambling. There are no good roads in the villages of our country. There are no good doctors and hospital facility in the village. Every year many people die of various diseases owing to lack of good doctors in villages. Most of the villagers are illiterate and superstitious. They cannot march with time. They waste must of their time in useless gossip. They do not try to improve their lot. Since the independence of the country the Government has been trying to improve the condition of the villages. Many schemes have been started to help all sections of the people. Many roads have been constructed to connect the villages with towns. The Government encourages them to establish small scale industries. New Schools have been opened in remote villages. The village panchayats have been formed for the proper development of villages. The future of Indian villages is certainly bright. We can hop that in future our villages will be nice places to live in.
